As we come to close our first official year of the Emerging Technologies Consortium(ETC), Maneesha and I would like to thank everyone that has helped with event planning, presenting, discussing technology and collaborations, and hosting. Our first year we had the privilege to host esteemed faculty and researchers at Columbia along with the tech industry to discuss topics ranging from AR/VR, blockchain, AI to quantum computing. We were also selected to join HP's Campus of the Future program and will announce the projects that begin in early 2019. The start of the fall semester we launched our website to communicate our mission and goals, highlight our events, and register for future events.
We are also happy to announce our future events will be held at the new Milstein Center for Teaching and Learning at Barnard. A very special thank you to Melanie Hibbert and everyone at Barnard Instructional Media and Technology.
