The Emerging Technologies Consortium had the pleasure of hosting the Brookings Institution Center for Universal Education Leadership Council, Senior Fellows, and Echidna scholars on campus this fall. The event featured some of the brightest minds at Columbia University in AI research, Robotics, Virtual Reality, and Augmented Reality, who shared their insights on digital transformation and the growing application of emerging technologies in academics and research.

The Columbia University Emerging Technologies Grant program strives to empower faculty, research, and administrative members to utilize next-generation technologies to explore and develop new pedagogical strategies and research applications. The event highlights the successful collaboration between higher educational institutions and educational leadership and research organizations, bringing a diverse discussion and evaluation of emerging technologies' impact on advancing research and pedagogy across a wide array of disciplines.
