Join us as we host Lukman Ramsey, Google's Artifical Intelligence/Machine Learning Lead who will provide an overview of current research on AI/ML at Google. Lukman will also provide a deeper dive into utilizing the various toolsets available on the Google Cloud Platform.
Lukman Ramsey is Google's Artifical Intelligence and Machine Learning Lead. He speaks regularly at conferences around the world about Google’s AI technology, such as the keynote at the World AI Summit, the Disney Datathon, McKinsey Analytics Forum, and Google Cloud NEXT conferences.
Lukman did his PhD work in Computer Science at UC San Diego, doing computer vision research at JPL in the Machine Learning systems group. As an undergrad at MIT in Cognitive Science and Computer Science he worked on multi-layer neural networks before it was called "deep learning." His academic interests have always centered on the intersection of Cognitive Science and Computer Science.
