This training session will take place over two days on October 20th and October 22nd. Each sesssion will start at 11 AM and last one hour.
Codex is OpenAI's coding agent for delegating software tasks — from writing and debugging code to executing multi-step changes across a codebase. Through live demos, we'll cover setup, day-to-day workflows in the app, task delegation strategies, and how to review and steer the agent's output. You'll leave with a clear picture of what Codex can do and how to fold it into your own work. Participants are encouraged to attend both sessions.
This training session is intended for Columbia University faculty, researchers, and staff. We request that students and university affiliates (Barnard and Teacher's College) refrain from registering.
