This training session will take place over two days on October 20th and October 22nd. Each sesssion will start at 11 AM and last one hour.
Get oriented to the essential features of ChatGPT Education in this practical two-part session. We'll open with the essentials of how to get a license, why the secure Columbia environment matters, and switching between models, then we’ll spend the rest of the time on how to build. By the end, attendees will understand what each feature does and how to choose the right tool for everyday teaching, research, writing, planning, and administrative work. Reusable setups also repeat their mistakes, so we'll cover where review steps belong. Participants are encouraged to attend both sessions.
This training session is intended for Columbia University faculty, researchers, and staff. We request that students and university affiliates (Barnard and Teachers College) refrain from registering.
