AICoP: CAiSEY an AI-powered Course Tool

Online Event

Emerging Technologies’ AI: Community of Practice (AICoP) is a multidisciplinary gathering exploring practical applications of AI across Columbia University—a space for learning, discussion, and experimentation.

In this session, the CAiSEY team will share how this AI-powered course tool prepares students for class through real-time, voice-first conversation. Instructors design discussion questions through which students practice articulating ideas, responding to arguments, and considering different perspectives. Developed at Columbia Business School in 2025, CAiSEY has been implemented in 40+ courses across 23 institutions worldwide, reaching 4,100+ students. It has been used by nearly every CBS student and has been or will be adopted at the Columbia Climate School, SEAS, CUMC, and SPS.
