Emerging Technologies' AI: Community of Practice (AICoP) is a multidisciplinary gathering of curious minds, exploring the practical applications of artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) at Columbia University. The community provides a platform for learning, discussion, and experimentation—helping to demystify AI, encourage exploration, and foster inclusive collaboration.
This session welcomes Anthropic to campus as CUIT prepares to launch Claude as a new AI service offering for the Columbia community. We'll explore Anthropic's approach to building safe and beneficial AI, practical applications of Claude across teaching, research, and administrative work, and what this new service means for faculty, researchers, and staff.
The session will be led by Johanna Bowman, Education Partnerships at Anthropic and Columbia Business School Alumn.
