Joining the Emerging Technologies Consortium(ETC)

ETC@Columbia was created to facilitate exploration, understanding, and adoption of emerging technologies.  It is also aimed at fostering collaboration, industry partnership and to publicize emerging technology research and pedagogical advancements.  This program will allow industry partners to better engage with Columbia have a brand presence on campus.

  • Opportunity to brand student events, competitions, hackathons, and other programs throughout the academic year

Sponsor Emerging Technology Research:

Provide research funding and/or equipment for advancing emerging technology at Columbia.  Your dollars and equipment will be used to fund creative and innovative projects in general emerging technology areas or areas of interest specified by you.

ETC advertises funding opportunities amongst all faculty/researchers and students throughout the year.  The ETC advisory group reviews all proposals and selects best-fit projects based on a rubric. Upon completion of the project, the reports are showcased and published at various internal and external venues.
